Appointment of Jean-Yves GRALL to the post of Human Resources Director

Jean-Yves Grall, who holds a master’s degree from the Paris II University and a diploma from the Paris II Institut d’Etudes Judiciaires (institute of judiciary studies), began his career in 1977 with RENAULT as training department coordinator. He followed this with two years as a company law consultant with UIMM (Union des Industries Métallurgiques et Minières – Union of Metal and Mining Industries). In 1981 he took up the post of assistant to the personnel director at BERNARD MOTEURS, part of the Renault group. He joined the ALCATEL group in 1983 as manager of Transac Alcatel /Bull Transac labour management relations.

In 1986 he began a long career with the BULL holding group, becoming successively HRD for the Commercial Division France West, HRD for the Overseas commercial network, HRD for the Research and Development Division, HRD for the Customer Service Division and HRD for the Bull Technologies Division.

In 2005 he took up the post of Human Resources Director with the AXORYS group (Industrial Engineering).

Whilst the Demos group pursues its policy of rapid international development, as can be seen by its successive acquisitions of Mind on Site in January 2008 (Switzerland), PragoEduca in February (Czech Republic) and the Hemsley Fraser group in April (United Kingdom), Jean-Yves GRALL has the mission of defining and harmonizing an ambitious strategy for international management of human resources for the entire group.

About the Demos group

A benchmark player at the heart of the operational knowledge economy
The Demos group is a global player in professional training. Taking advantage of its core trade, that is to say further professional training in all its forms (face-to-face, tailored, e-learning, etc.), Demos has developed complementary services such as consultancy, outsourcing and individual support (coaching, outplacement, etc.)

A successful business model, replicable internationally
Established in 16 countries and France’s main cities, Demos has successfully combined strong organic growth and an efficient policy for external growth, which enables it today to work alongside its customers around the world and develop a local customer base. On a buoyant market, the diversity of its offer, its exacting quality requirements, constant search for innovation and flexible, high-performance business model have made Demos a benchmark player in professional training.

Regular, profitable growth
In 2007 the Demos group achieved a turnover of 78.3 million Euros. Since the beginning of 2008 Demos has acquired the Czech company Pragoeduca, a leader in further professional training in the Czech Republic; the Swiss company MindOnSite (MOS), a specialist in e-learning and the publisher of MOS Chorus; and, last April, the company Hemsley Fraser, a leader in professional training in Great Britain.
